Item Description

Splendent, striated, jet-black, enargite prisms are aesthetically clustered on the impressive mounded plate of starkly contrasting, bright brassy pyrite octahedrons. Som eenargite may actually be alterred to Luzonite, we know now. The prominent large crystal at the top is 1.5 cm tall. The bit of periphery wear on the left side of the piece is certainly a modest detraction to this very fine, showy and uncommon combination from this less well-known locale. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased from Bart Cannon in 1980. Valued at $750.
