Enargite (ex Urish Collection)

Item Description

Butte is famous for producing some of the finest Enargite crystals on the planet. This piece features a few lustrous, very sharp black-grey colored Enargite crystals associated with pyritohedral Pyrite and Quartz. You don't see nearly as many Butte Enargites on the market anymore, and they will always hold their own on a worldwide scale. A good display quality miniature sized specimen of this classic material. The largest Enargite measures 1.8 cm, and the largest Pyrite measure 0.7 cm across. Formerly in the collection of Harold Urish.
