Item Description

The Quiruvilca Mine is noted for having produced some of the world's finest enargites and this is an excellent small cabinet specimen. Sharp, splendent, prismatic crystals to about 1.3 cm, with flat terminations and characteristic form richly and attractively cover the matrix. The crystals have well-striated faces. All of the major crystals in the interior are pristine and the noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. Specimens of this quality came out in the mid-1970s to early 80s.
