Enargite (big crystals)

Item Description

An old time specimen of Peruvian Enargite featuring some of the largest / longest crystals of the species I can remember seeing from Quiruvilca or any other mine in the country. Now the piece is not in perfect condition, it's definitely contacted in areas, but the crystals are not only large (measuring up to 9.3 cm), but they have good luster and beautiful form. The largest crystal has a good termination, and the piece looks better in person than the photos might indicate. You don't buy this piece because it's perfect, you buy it because these are huge crystals for the species from anywhere in the world. It even displays beautifully without the aid of a base or clay.
