Sharp, prismatic, terminated metallic-gray enargite crystals, to about 1.0 cm, are festooned on the top of this large and showy combination ore specimen from the famous Quiruvilca Mine. Glassy baryte blades and micro pyrites are noted on the hefty massive sulfide matrix along with malachite. Malachite is RARE from Quiruvilca (noted listed by MINDAT), making this a highly desirable combination. The noted bruising has minimal impact to the importance of this rich, rare and showy combination from the Matioli Collection. 779 gram or 1.7 pounds mass.
