A true classic among American minerals, Butte Enargites rank among the best that exist. These crystals rest beautifully on matrix, and each other. They are splendent, having a shimmery bright luster and silvery black color that just gleams because of the high luster. The form is exceptional - the prismatic crystals are very sharp, with the largest being almost 1.2 cm in length. On the crystals, one termination is mirror-like and perfect, the other is covered by a coating of sparkly drusy Enargites. Simply one of the best Enargite minatures I have seen.
