Item Description

Emplectite is an uncommon copper, bismuth sulfosalt and this old-time specimen features metallic, gray lathes to 5 mm and microcrystals concentrated on two sides of the quartz-rich matrix with some sulfides. This is classic old and RARE for the locale material, as it comes from the famous mines of the Johanngeorgenstadt District of the Erzgebirge. Ex Smithsonian Collection.
