Emerald (strong color)

Emeralds are one of the few precious gems in the world, cherished for their amazing color and durability. People have held Emeralds in high esteem for thousands of years, as ancient records tell us Emeralds were known and sold in markets in Babylon as early as 4000 BC. This stone comes from Colombia, the leading nation in the world for the best quantity and quality of Emeralds gems, hands down. What makes this stone so significant is the fact that the saturation of color is incredibly strong in a smaller stone. This "Rectangle" cut gem has a glowing intense green hue, even though it only measures about 3 mm. There are some slight inclusions, but Emerald is classified as Type-3 gemstone, which means that inclusions (even small ones) are typically present, and accepted by jewelers, collectors and dealers, so the minor inclusions in this gem are what one could expect in most Emeralds. It's impossible to precisely replicate the color in a photo or video and I feel like this one looks better in person. A cool little gem for any fan of Emeralds.
