Item Description
Beryl is found all over the world in virtually every color, and the stones feature some of the most vivid and rich pinks, yellows, blues and GREENS of any gems out there. The most valuable variety of Beryl is Emerald, and top stones are incredibly beautiful and highly sought after. The vast majority of the Emeralds on the market are from Colombia, but recently we acquired a small parcel of rarely seen gems from Pakistan. Gems from this area are rare and expensive on the market. We actually purchased this stone direct from the source, which is why we're able to offer it for a low starting bid of $50. This gem has a beautiful green (with a slight blue overtone) color, with amazingly good clarity and a traditional "Emerald" cut. Keep in mind that Emerald is classified as a Type-3 gemstone which means that inclusions are almost always present in the stones, so when you find a gem like this with such good clarity, it's a big deal.
