A beautiful and sculptural, 2.2 cm, dense cluster of gem, rich green emerald crystals is very aesthetically set in a large vein of crystallized calcite accented with contrasting xenoliths of shale matrix on this very showy and excellent example from the famous Cosquez Mine. The sharp emeralds reach 5-7 mm. Modest pink calcite fluorescence. Classic and desirable combination material from the Raul Orellana Collection. The emeralds are small, but they are gemmy, juicy and very fine.
