Emerald (large crystals)

A beautiful and large display specimen of incredibly deep color Emerald crystals on Quartz and Schist matrix. The color is about as rich and intense as I have seen from this area in northeast Brazil. The crystals (the largest of which measures 7.1 cm), have superb luster and are even translucent to gemmy in sections. They main crystal, which is rather stout and thick flares out of the top of the specimen, but it must be noted that the piece is contacted at the termination. This is still a LARGE cabinet size, attractive, aesthetic display specimen of Emerald, and how often do you see that on the market? Emerald crystals that approach 3 inches are nothing to laughed at either. If you've ever wanted a big, colorful Emerald specimen, and can live with the fact that it's not 100% perfect, this is a perfect specimen for you!
