Item Description
Please note, this specimen came with a label from well-known and recently deceased New York dealer Larry Conklin as coming from Takowaja, Russia. This old name refers to a nearby river where the Emeralds are found, but it is not the actual locality. This specimen features incredibly rich chrome/emerald green, prismatic, hexagonal, translucent crystals of fine quality Emerald sitting on Quartz and schist matrix. The largest crystal measures up to 1.6 cm. Good quality, aesthetic, and hard to find on the market now, so don't miss out. Valued originally at $750 by Conklin, and I think worth more today.
