Item Description
Habach Valley emeralds are an Austrian and European classic species. Two crystals are nicely set in the biotite schist matrix. They are rather gemmy and have good color saturation. The large crystal is 1.3 cm and the small one is 6 mm. Both exposed ends are broken. These emerald crystals will not be winning any awards or cutting fine stones, but - they are from Austria, so the specimen is significant as a locality piece. Ex Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection and obtained from the Autica Collection in Rome in 1962.
