Item Description
Here we have a wonderful hand-carved rounded elliptical dome of solid Emerald from the Bubani Mine in Rajasthan, India. Both the top and bottom / back of the carving feature elegant leaf carving shape. The "girdle" of the stone piece features a simple hatch pattern. The piece has rich, consistent green color for the most part, but there are a few lighter areas of golden-brown Beryl that are not green enough to be called Emerald. The detail in the carving is wonderful. A beautiful piece that would make a nice addition to any gem/carving collection. The piece weighs 166.31 carats (33.26 grams).
