Item Description
This in an impressive, large hand-carved oval-shaped dome of solid Emerald from the Bubani Mine in Rajasthan, India featuring an attractive leaf and flower forms on the top. The underside of the piece shows a simple crosshatch patterning. The piece has rich, consistent color throughout and the detail in the carving is wonderful. A beautiful and robust piece that would make a nice addition to any gem/carving collection. The piece weighs a whopping 1,185 carats (237 grams).
