Classic rich green color saturation highlights this impressive, sharp, stout, 3.5 x 3.0 x 2.8 cm, translucent, modified hexagonal emerald crystal from probably the world's largest emerald deposit. This very fine, fairly large crystal for the size range has good luster. The side car crystals and bit of embedded shale add character to this excellent 360-degree crystal. The crystal GLOWS, when back lit. Complete all-around, the bit of noted termination edge wear is certainly only a modest detraction. While these crystals certainly are not as gemmy as good Colombian ones, note that this is an old Brazilian emerald specimen - far rarer. Very rare on the market in this quality. Valued at $1500.
