When it comes to Emeralds, the standard for the finest stones ever found are those from Colombia. Without question, Colombia has produced more top quality Emeralds than all other countries combined over the years. This stone is an attractive "Square" cut gem with a notably saturated green hue, but it does have some dark visible inclusions. I will say that it's important to remember that Emerald is classified as a "Type 3" gemstone, which means inclusions are almost always present, and accepted by dealers and collectors. A lovely little Emerald with a strong color for the size.
