A "golden" 2-piece deal of superb and elegant, crystallized leaf gold thumbnails from the famous Eagles Nest Mine. Splendent, flattened, gold octahedrons comprise the resting dog with upright head specimen and elongated spinel-twins comprise the insect-like or arborescent upright piece. These are a gorgeous and aesthetic, well-matched pair. Ex Mauthner Collection and acquired in 2002. Valued at $400-500.
