Striking and sculptural large curved man-made electrolytic copper from an unknown manufacturer. This imposing piece is composed of a myriad of sharp copper dodecahedrons with a nice patina. The column appears to be twinned and crystals on the crown and on two sides are larger and sharper. It strongly resembles a strobilus, the cone-like reproductive structure of Cycads, a seed plant, that has been around since the Late Paleozoice.
