Stunning "electric-blue" azurites from Concepcion del Oro compare with the best in the world from Tsumeb, Touissit or Arizona for gemminess and vivid blue color. They are small, but they are so fine. Scintillating crystals, to about 5 mm, fill a large sculptural vug in malachite-rich gossan matrix. These highly desirable old classics came out in the 1960s. They GLOW under bright light. The piece displays strikingly from either direction.
