Item Description

An old-time, very showy, mounded rosette of intergrown, lustrous, pretty royal-blue, azurite blades from the famous mines at Chessy. The blades glow with "electric-blue" color under bright light. This 360-degree classic is pristine and is nicely accented with scattered bits of malachite. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by 1875 and this is a most excellent example of a classic form and species. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
