"Electric-blue" Azurite (old classic)

Electric-blue azurites from Concepcion del Oro compare with the best in the world from Tsumeb, Touissit or Arizona for gemminess and vivid blue color. They are small, but they are so fine. Scintillating crystals, to 1.2 cm, with some partially pseudomorphed by malachite are richly scattered in vugs on the sculptural mounded gossan matrix. These highly desirable old classics came out in the 1960s. From an East Coast collection. They GLOW under bright light.
