An excellent and aesthetic CABINET combination specimen from the famous Morenci Mine. SUCH LARGE SHARP ISOLATED XLS ARE RARE FOR THIS LOCALE! Mined in 1993. A sculptural vug in rhyolite matrix is lined with banded malachite. Filling the vug are numerous, sharp, azure-blue, azurite crystals to 1.4 cm, with many have highly desirable areas of gemmy, electric-blue. There are also malachite pseudomorphs after azurite crystal. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Classic, larger Morenci combination material.
