Item Description
A beautiful and aesthetic combination specimen from recent finds in China. The vuggy, sculptural front of the piece is filled with sparkly, navy-blue, azurite blades, that glow with "electric-blue" gemminess under bright light. Beautiful, banded velvet malachite botryoids are a super accent. The sturdy matrix is a combination banded malachite and gossan. The quality of the azurite is excellent. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detraction to this bright specimen. Chinese azurites of this quality compare very favorably with Bisbee material. High praise. Valued at $300-400.
