"Electric-blue" Azurite

Item Description

Highly lustrous, electric-blue azurite blades and flat crystals are richly and attractively scattered on the starkly contrasting dickite clay-covered matrix plate on this striking and showy large piece from Milpillas. The largest crystal is 1.5 cm. Scattered bruising is noted to a few crystals, but this remains a fine, highly representative, large example of this uncommon varietal. The blades GLOW with electric-blue color under bright light. The piece looks great from both sides.
