Sparkly spherical aggregates tiny sharp navy-blue azurite crystals fill a sculptural vug in in limonite and malachite matrix this rich and showy specimen from this less well-known Chinese skarn and porphyry-type copper-gold deposit. The azurites GLOW with electric-blue color under bright light. Specimens of this quality came out in 2004-05 finds and are uncommon. The Tongshan Mine is near the better known Liufengshan Mine. High quality azurite.
