Item Description

This dramatic combination piece is from the lesser-known locality of Bulochi (Balachi) in the northern reaches of Pakistan. The focal point is a highly lustrous and dark Elbaite crystal that is 8.4 cm long and 2.1 cm wide. The upper 6 mm of this Tourmaline is gemmy and light blue, with a sharp, flat termination. This Elbaite is nestled among Cleavelandite and superbly formed, hexagonal crystals of pearlescent Muscovite. The centerpiece of these is 4.6 cm across, and it stands out beautifully! An excellent and aesthetic combination specimen, you can see why it was originally priced at $1200 (previous dealer).
