Item Description
For years, we've seen the famous "mushroom" Tourmalines from this area (most of them are labeled as Elbaite, but they typically contain more than one species), and they are some of the most iconic Tourmalines around. The piece features an attractive, lustrous, rich reddish-pink Rubellite color "mushroom cap" (no stem) measuring 1.5 cm sitting on a partial cream colored Orthoclase crystal. If you collect Tourmaline, gem crystals, minerals of Myanmar, or even just nice thumbnail specimens, don't miss out on this one. Ex Charlie Key personal collection. Charlie is arguably the most sucessful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
