Item Description
A good representation in quartz matrix of the rare style of bi-colored Elbaite from the famed Virgem da Lapa locality. The crystal has very good luster, well-developed terminations, and striations on the prism faces. The primary color is a classic bottle-green, and it transitions to a combination of green and vivid pink at the terminations. The Elbaite in the Quartz is 5.2 cm long. This is rare, colorful, older material from 1960s or 1970s. ex George Elling Collection
