Item Description
This lovely little bi-colored Tourmaline duo consists of black Schorl core and rich pink Elbaite rim and cap. It isn't quite the mushroom type, but it does flare out slightly near the top of the piece. Although the two black Schorl crystal cores are obvious especially from the bottom, the raspberry pink rim is evident surrounding the Schorl and the deep pink Elbaite dominates the top half of the crystal and consists numerous, highly striated components that have a silky to adamantine luster that is pronounced when tilting the crystal back and forth. Just a captivating Burmese Tourmaline! This beauty of a thumbnail has a mass of 16.34 grams.
