Item Description

This is an unusual Tourmaline piece from an old Mogok discovery, and it's very elegant in style. It's a cluster of pastel pink Elbaite crystals consisting of many dozens of slender prismatic crystals and the entire piece is composed of Elbaite! This is one of the more bizarre specimens of Tourmaline encountered and it originates from the Palelni Mine in Myanmar which is known for its unusual Tourmalines like the "mushroom cap" style with overgrowth of Elbaite on Schorl stalks. The individual Tourmaline crystals on this piece are oriented beautifully, seemingly without a pattern and yet it is pleasing to the eye! A unique and pretty Elbaite specimen!
