Item Description
A unique thumbnail specimen featuring a duo of Tourmaline and Quartz attached to one another, for a great aesthetic look! It can be displayed either horizontally or vertically. The piece is complete on front, and sides, contacted on back. From the back, you can see schorl inside the mushroom-shaped rubellite tourmaline cap: Elbaite Tourmaline caps displaying a satin luster and the underside reveals a core of black Schorl. A classic old style for Burmese minerals, from the late 90s or early 2000s. We are honored to present another lot of deaccessions to auction from the collection of Jack Halpern of San Francisco, as featured in the Mineralogical Record, March 2005.
