Elbaite, Kunzite & Cleavelandite ex Obodda

Item Description

Dense tourmaline sprays, such as this, are RARE from any worldwide locale. This dramatic and elegant combination is highlighted by the cluster of bi-colored elbaites against the starkly contrasting 1.7 cm, tabular, mauve kunzite crystal and striking field of snow-white cleavelandite blades. The lustrous, translucent, well-striated bodies of the tourmalines are grass-green and have pretty, gemmy, light lavender terminations. The elbaite field is nearly pristine, with only one barely noticeable broken crystal. The periphery wear to the cleavelandite field below the tourmalines is noted, but is certainly only a modest detraction to this rare and outstanding combination from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Value?? It looks like a floral arrangement!
