Item Description

Edingtonite is a rare barium zeolite group species. Lustrous, prismatic, white, edingtonite crystals to 4 mm are festooned on all sides of the very sculptural matrix from this well-known locality in British Columbia, Canada. The preferential yellowish iron oxide coating is a striking contrast and accent. Probably collected in 1980. Thats blue tack on the back. Very showy and excellent material from this locale. This is an EXTREMELY rich example. Ex Whitmore Collection.
