Edenite, Na- Ca-Mg-Fe-Al silicate hydroxide is a rare Amphibole Supergroup species. This outstanding, very rich, old-time specimen is from the historic Type Locality, which has attracted collectors since the early 1800s (MINDAT). Three sides of the sculptural quartz-rich matrix are festooned with sharp oxide-coated crystals to 1.1 cm. VERY RARE on the market in this richness and quality! Ex University of Delaware Collection.
