Item Description

This is an exceptional cluster of the Amphibole, Edenite. More often dark colored, this is the more attractive (to my eye) variety, being an appealing light tan. The crystals are lustrous, tabular, and the largest crystal (6.8 cm) is hoppered at one end and reverse sceptered at the other. The reverse scepter has an excellent pyramidal termination. The other cystals in the cluster are hoppered, as well. One of the best of these species I have seen in eye eppal, if not size (the normal ones you see from Sri Lanka and elsewhere tend to be dark and ugly). For what it is, the quality and the aesthetics are very good.
