This is a very attractive pair of earrings featuring a pair of beatiful, eye clean, rich blue color, "Round Brilliant" Blue Topaz gems set into Sterling Silver. The earrings were made by Brett Kosnar of Mineral Classics. As far as the Topaz stones are concerned, this material typically starts out as colorless Topaz and is treated to create the rich blue color. This method is well known in the gem trade and is not at all frowned upon, provided that people KNOW that they're buying a treated gem.
