Dzhalindite is a very rare Indium Hydroxide, one of the members of the Sohngeite Group, and one of only about 15 species in the world to contain Indium. The mineral was first discovered in 1963 at the Dzhalinda Sn Deposit in Russia. This piece comes to us from the collection of Paolo Matioli of Brazil, and features Dzalindite forming a pseudomorph after Indite in "Wood Tin" Cassiterite.
