Item Description

Dyscrasite is an uncommon alloy of silver and antimony. Some of the finest examples come from the well-known Soviet-era uranium-silver mines at Pribram. Sharp, splendent, bronzy-silvery, spiky spinel-twinned looking dyscrasite crystals are dramatically and richly embedded on all sides of the sculptural, hefty matrix of native arsenic. An excellent 360-degree combination specimen from the 1980s finds from the Dr. Barratt Phillips Collection.
