Dumortierite included with Quartz (rare) (12.03 grams)

Some of you might have seen this material in the gem / lapidary trade, but to find a piece of actual CRYSTALLIZED Quartz with these Dumortierite inclusions is rare in my experience. This thumbnail sized specimen features a sharp, well-formed, euhedral, white / colorless translucent prismatic Quartz crystal with notably strong indigo colored inclusions of Dumortierite at the base. Now unfortunately the termination is contacted n the Quartz, so the piece is not 100% pristine, but the combination of the two species together is notably hard to find in nature, and the alluring color of the Dumortierite makes it all the more appealing. If you collect Quartz or inclusion specimens, this is a great opportunity to pick up a piece of this rarely seen material from the Vaca Morta Quarry in Bahia. Specimen weight is 12.03 grams
