Dumortierite included in Quartz (rare)

A good quality, crystallized specimen of these elusive, rare and colorful Quartz with Dumortierite inclusions from the Vaca Morta Quarry in Brazil Most of what is on the market is polished examples of this material (primarily seen in the gem / lapidary trade), but to find a piece of actual CRYSTALLIZED Quartz with these Dumortierite inclusions is rare in my experience. This specimen features several sharp, well-formed, euhedral colorless gemmy prismatic Quartz crystal with indigo colored inclusions of Dumortierite inside. The Quartz crystals are complete all around, which was not easy to find from this locality, and the combination of the two species together is notably hard to find in nature period. The largest crystal measures 2.1 cm. If you collect Quartz or inclusion specimens, this is a great opportunity to pick up a piece of this rarely seen material from this lesser-known quarry in Bahia.
