Duftite with Rosasite on Willemite

A colorful and interesting combination specimen from Tsumeb featuring bright green Duftite, green-blue Rosasite and greenish Willemite, all contrasted on matrix with red iron-stained willemite crystals that sparkle nicely. A silicified, hematite-stained matrix is adorned with transparent to translucent, equant, colorless crystals of Willemite with subsequent overgrowth of bright green botryoids (rounded growths) of Duftite followed by local, tiny patches of green-blue Rosasite. The Duftite botryoids are very colorful and prominent occurring as 1.5 to 2.5 mm spherules that are isolated and moderately intergrown. The Rosasite is found as 1 to 2 mm patches of green-blue microcrystals on a few of the Duftite spherules. This is a vibrant piece in normal light and also has a moderate fluorescence in short wave UV due to the Willemite. It is a Tsumeb combination piece of special aesthetics, not like anything you normally see.
