Green microcrystalline Duftite coats Calcite on this sculptural large undulating cavernous Calcite vug from famed Tsumeb. Calcite with Duftite is a classic association at Tsumeb and Tsumeb is the Type Locality for Duftite. Ex Cook Collection. We feel very lucky to have picked up the large collection of Bill and Anne Cook of Cleveland, recently. It is a tribute to their long efforts, how many interesting minerals and old localities were preserved and carefully labelled so you can see them now. Bill and Anne collected for at least 60 years. A richly Duftite lined Calcite vug of this quality is RARE from here and this is an outstanding combination example of the species.
