Duftite on Calcite (Shields Flynn Coll.)

Classic and desirable duftite on calcite from Tsumeb. Pretty celadon-green duftite richly and preferentially coats dramatically intergrown glassy, translucent calcite rhombs on this striking sculptural specimen. The impressive rhombs reach 2.7 cm. Trivial bruising to a couple of rhombs and the attachments are noted, but have minimal impact to the overall excellent quality of this combination. This very fine piece has several superlative display views. Tsumeb, like Dalnegorsk, is renowned for calcite quality and diversity and this is a famous combination example.
