Item Description
Classic, colorful and desirable small cabinet calcite and duftite combination from famed extinct Tsumeb. Bright green duftite preferentially coats very complex, trigonal-shaped, glassy and translucent, colorless calcite rhombs. The primary central calcite crystal is 1.5 cm tall. These amazing flat-topped calcites have stunning, striated, beveled edges, that are not coated by the duftite. Very interesting crystal chemistry here. Ex Cook Collection. A highly unusual and striking older calcite and duftite combination from Tsumeb.
