Duftite on Calcite (classic combo)

Item Description

A showy, mounded calcite specimen from the famous and now-closed Tsumeb Mine. This classic-style, two-sided piece features lustrous, translucent, colorless calcite rhombs, that are niftily and preferentially coated with multiple generations of pastel-green duftite. The striking large rhomb is 2.9 cm on edge. The frontal view is essentially pristine. You cannot tell, that the right face of the large rhomb is cleaved. The back is in good shape, too. This is an excellent and classic example of this style of Tsumeb calcite.
