Item Description
Duftite, Pb-Cu arsenate, is usually found as an accessory, crusts or as inclusions in calcite or other species, seldom as display quality specimens at famed Tsumeb. This highly sculptural Type Locality matrix specimen is certainly the exception! A very rich curved vug is lined with spherical aggregates of scintillating, translucent olive-green duftite microcrystals and is dramatically set atop the striking blocky matrix. This outstanding and very uncommon specimen has 270-degree artistic visual appeal. Choice material from the Shields Flynn Tsumeb Collection.
