A remarkable tapered trio of doubly terminated weloganite crystals is beautifully set on the boxwork matrix, that includes smaller crystals on this superb and adorable thumbnail from this famous and extinct Type Locality. The crystals are remarkably, translucent. Most are opaque! The layered form of the lustrous, greenish-yellow crystals look like urns with two striking white spouts! This is one of the very finest thumbnail matrix crystal clusters in this size range, I have seen. The specimen could be cleaned to improve the quality. Valued at $1500
