Item Description
Glassy, water-clear to translucent, classic light amber, doubly terminated and twinned calcite crystals form a showy and aesthetic, 2-crystal specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The perpendicular, intergrown form of the crystals is striking. The speckled, included flecks of marcasite are a super accent. Very gentle, barely noticeable bruising to the terminations and nearly out of sight contacting on the backside are noted, but are certainly modest detractions to this fine example from thie noted lcocale. Older material from the Consie Prince Collection.
