Item Description
A very classy and aesthetic cluster of glassy, transparent to translucent, doubly terminated and twinned, calcite crystals from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The large crystal is 6.5 cm. Most of the crystals are a very light amber, but some have areas of the gorgeous golden-amber. The bit of barite near the top is a very nice accent. Very nearly pristine, a super-trivial bit of edgewear is noted to a couple of crystals, but is certainly not a detraction. Excellent material from this noted locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
